We at Mid-Coast Baptist Church are rejoicing that God gave His Son Jesus to save us from our sins (Matthew 1:21). We accept the testimony of the Word of God that Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, that He lived a sinless life, that He died in our place to pay the debt of our sins, and that He rose from the grave. The Bible declares that He is now exalted in Heaven and that He will return someday to rule on this earth from the throne of David in Jerusalem. The Lord revealed to His prophet, Isaiah, that someday all of this world will realize and declare that Jesus is wonderful. “His name shall be called Wonderful . . .” (Isaiah 9:6).
We praise the Lord for His first coming as we look forward to His return! “Even so, come, Lord Jesus” (Revelation 22:20).
